Air pollution is one of the greatest challenges that we have to face especially people who live in urban cities. In recent times, Bangkok and Chiang Mai are cities in Thailand, which suffer the most from this issue. The news about air pollution are depressing and affecting our quality of urban lives.

Our Background and Vision
Over time, more and more number of human lives has been growing attached to urban lifestyles. At the same time, this also means that we are detaching ourselves from nature daily. While the urban lifestyle is very convenient and attractive, it comes at a cost especially on environment surrounding us is getting polluted.
With this issue in our minds, we foresee to integrate "nature-based" solutions into our urban lifestyles making our urban lifestyle more sustainable than the present as well as making an impact to our society. Dr. Treerat and Dr. Pichaya believe in an opportunity to use "algae", which is an organism that consider to be the foundation of all living things, to solve our urban life problems (e.g. air pollution). Algae is known for being responsible for oxygen production in the air and it has various species and properties, which can be converted into many valuable products.
With all these benefits, Algae Deep Tech Co., Ltd. was established on 21st May 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand. We would like to be a start-up who can make significant impacts to urban lives and transform our urban society into real sustainable communities. Our vision is to integrate algae cultivation with different kind of deep technologies to provide nature-based sustainable solutions for our urban society. We hope to contribute to sustainable development goals (SDGs) particularly SDG no. 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities and SDG no. 13 Climate Action.
